Kevin Rodbell,
MD, FAAP
Board Certified Pediatrician
Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics
Dr. Rodbell, born and raised in Atlanta, is proud to practice in the community in which he grew up. He and his wife have seven children and now grandchildren. After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2003, Dr. Rodbell completed his Pediatric Residency at the Brooklyn Infants' and Children's Hospital in 2006. He went on to establish Sage Hill Pediatrics in 2008. To further serve his patients and their parents, Dr. Rodbell has also completed extensive training in supporting lactating mothers and managing common barriers to breastfeeding.
Alma Nakasone, PNP-C
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Alma has been practicing in Pediatrics since graduating from Emory University's Woodruff School of Nursing in 2008. She joined the Sage Hill Pediatrics family in 2016 and has been an invaluable part of the team ever since. Her focus is on educating patients and families so that they can grow and thrive. When not seeing patients, she loves to watch the various Georgia sports teams with her husband and two children.
Leah Gerendash, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Leah discovered her love of Pediatrics while working as a medical assistant at our very own Sage Hill Pediatrics. She has since graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Mercer University in 2025 and is thrilled to return to the SHP family. Leah is passionate about Pediatric preventive medicine and teaching patients about their health. In her spare time, Leah can be found hanging out with her husband and children.
